My cat is limping but still jumping and running

Funny that this advice pops up today. My cat just got home from femoral head ostectomy surgery. 6 weeks ago, he started mildly limping. No vet could get us in anytime in the next 2 months, and the limp went away within a few days so I didn’t worry about it. He was running and jumping and playing pretty normally.
