I just finished my 5.56 "battle rifle" with an Aero upper and lower. I think I would have been better off with a Sabre as well. When I looked at the Sabre I didn't see an 18 inch barrel at the time but I think they have one now. It took way longer than I’d like to admit to figure out that most of the Sabre uppers use the basic PSA barrel. Only those marked as FN CHF in the name actually use the CHF. In assuming you mean the sabre 15 not the sabre 10. It depends on what you want to do with it. I have a 13.7 in Jakl with the F5 stock and it is a great gun. If you already have a few good AR15s I'd go for the Jakl especially if you plan on shooting it suppressed, the long stroke piston and the adjustable gas do well with a suppressor.
