Pontiac solstice trunk won't open.
OK, I'll admit I'm not a tech, I work on some things mechanical but, this one has me cranked. The trunk won't release, the top panels won't release. The remotes have new batteries, the glove box switch doesn't release anything. Used to hear multiple clicks. Nothing now. I asked about this before and was told it's an electrical issue.
I started a discussion back in Sept 2021. Rob gave me some good suggestions, but they didn't fix the problem. Put the Solstice away for the winter. I now have it out and need to solve this latch problem. The latch nut was loose, and now is tight. If the trunk release is activating but not opening, it is possible that there is something in the latch preventing it from opening.
